After having developed Ikig.ai, their positive impact platform, they decided to engage in the regeneration of our planet’s biggest carbon scrubbers: mangroves.
Dataiku Blue Forests
Together, we are restoring 2 football pitches worth of mangrove forests, in the heart of Malaysian Borneo – the most efficient mangrove areas in the world in terms of CO₂ sequestration.
Not only this program will sequester almost a thousand tons of CO₂ overall. It will also revive a crucially important biodiversity, both underwater and on land.
Engaging Dataikers
Dataiku’s employees – or Dataikers – are at the center of our regeneration program. In June 2021, we launched our first Dataiku University x Tēnaka to present the regeneration program to Dataikers from all over the world.
